COVID 19 PROTOCOLS:
The safety and well-being of our patients and staff is vitally important, yet we understand that many of our patients would be significantly impacted by a disruption to their physical therapy care. Therefore, we remain open and are taking extra disinfection precautions in addition to normal protocols to reduce the risk of exposure, including limiting the number of people in the clinic, minimizing contact between persons, and implementing procedures which must be followed by anyone entering the clinic:
- STAY AT HOME IF YOU ARE SICK
We have instructed any staff feeling ill to remain at home. We ask the same of any patients feeling ill. All staff and patients entering the clinic will have their temperature taken and will be screened for signs of illness and potential recent exposure.
- WEAR A MASK OR FACIAL COVERING
Because we cannot maintain 6 feet of distance from our patients while providing quality physical therapy services, our staff are wearing masks and we ask that patients wear a mask or facial covering as well.
- PRACTICE PROPER HAND & WRIST HYGIENE
Wash your hands and your wrists often. Staff regularly wash/sanitize their hands between patients, but we are placing extra emphasis on this. We also ask patients to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer, before and after treatment.
- FOLLOW PHYSICAL DISTANCING PRACTICES
To minimize the number of persons in the clinic at a given time, no visitors are permitted in the clinic except those accompanying patients who need assistance. No children, other than those who are patients will be permitted in the clinic. Except for necessary treatment related interactions, all persons should maintain 6 feet of distance from one another at all times. Patients are asked to minimize touching non-essential surfaces and to refrain from using cell phones while in the clinic.
- COVER YOUR COUGHS & SNEEZES WITH A TISSUE
Please cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. If no tissue is handy, sneeze or cough into a bent elbow.
